Our practice

A chiropractor who explains first

Dr. Hafez sees families from across north Raleigh. Every plan starts with a conversation about how you move and what you want from care, and then an exam.

He tells you what he found, what the options are and what each one involves, including the risks. Nothing starts until you agree, and you can change the plan or stop at any time.

  • An exam before any adjustment

  • Options and risks explained

  • Treatment only if you agree

FAQ

Questions before your first visit

What happens at my first visit?

You talk with Dr. Hafez about your history and what you want from care. He examines how you move, tells you what he found and what the options are, and starts treatment only if you agree. Plan on about 45 minutes.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Like any treatment, it carries some risk. Some people feel sore for a day or two after an adjustment. Neck adjustments carry rare serious risks, which the doctor explains before any neck adjustment and before treatment begins. If a sudden severe headache, new weakness or numbness, chest pain or loss of bladder or bowel control comes on, call 911 or see a physician before booking.

Do you take my insurance?

We bill most PPO plans and some employer plans. What a plan pays for chiropractic care varies, so our front desk checks yours before your first visit. The How fees work page has the details.

Can I bring my child, or come while pregnant?

Yes to both. A parent or guardian stays in the room for every child's visit, and the doctor uses low-force methods matched to a child's age and size. We care for muscles and joints and do not treat illnesses. If you are pregnant, please check with your OB or midwife first.

How many visits will I need?

Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and reviews it with you as you go. We cannot say how many visits you will need before then, and you can stop at any time.

Ready to book your first visit?

Send a message and the front desk will call to find a time. Your first visit is an exam and a conversation, and treatment starts only if you agree.
